What Is Holistic Nutrition?
Holistic Nutrition is a science-based approach to nutrition and health. It takes into account all aspects of one’s wellness, including dietary needs, lifestyle, and psycho-spiritual elements, and addresses these needs based on one’s specific and unique biochemistry.
What Is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine addresses health and wellness issues from the ground up by relying on the body's natural healing abilities, rather than diagnosing or treating dis-ease.
Your history, lifestyle habits, current symptoms, and lab test results are assessed to understand and address the underlying causes of the un-wellness you are experiencing. Recommendations are then implemented slowly and methodically, thereby promoting a long-term and sustainable healing state.
What Is Trauma-Informed Somatic Coaching?
Unlike cognitive, behavioral, and psychoanalytic approaches, in Embodied Processing, which is the therapeutic somatic coaching I practice, we focus on felt sensations (physical, emotional, and energetic).
The process of mindfully bringing presence to embodied experience can support the nervous system in developing greater resiliency and can open up fresh insight.
